With over 35 successful years of teaching children and adults I can help you with your literacy and numeracy needs.

 

My belief is that literacy and numeracy is at the centre of a well rounded education which benefits you and your community.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Education degree majoring in Educational Studies and the Social Sciences with sub-majors in Teaching English as a Second Language and Aboriginal Studies. Recently I updated my studies in Teaching English as a Second Language and Understanding English Grammar at the University of Tasmania.

 

I have been a Teacher and Head of Department in a number of Primary and Secondary Schools in various locations around Australia and England.

 

As an Instructor at TAFE I have guided a large number of adult students and apprentices in completing their vocational education modules.

 

In recent years I have been involved with our migrant and refugee communities, in Hobart, as an English as a Second Language Teacher and Volunteer.
